Sam is originally from Durham and trained at Manchester School Of Theatre. 

Theatre credits include: ‘Herbert Pocket’ in Great Expectations (Mercury Theatre Colchester); 'Boq' in Wicked (Apollo Victoria Theatre, West End); 'Seymour' in Little Shop Of Horrors (UK Tour 2016); 'Jamie' in The Last Five Years;  'Princeton’ & ‘Rod' in Avenue Q (UK Tour 2012);  'U/S Emelius Browne’ in Bedknobs and Broomsticks (UK Tour); 'Guy' in My Night With Reg (Less Is More Theatre); 'Bruce' in Beyond Therapy (UK Tour); 'Harry Robinson' in The Ladykillers (Ipswich New Wolsey, Queens Hornchurch, Salisbury Playhouse), ‘Wilfred Crompton’ in Spring and Port Wine (Oldham Coliseum) Greg' in Single Sex and 'Gena Hamlet' in Galka Motalka (Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester); 'Harry' in Love On The Dole and 'Young Collector' in A Streetcar Named Desire (Bolton Octagon).

Television includes: ‘Robert Jenrick’ in This England (Sky Atlantic) and The Late Late Show (RTE) and Ireland:AM (TV3).

Radio Includes: 'Nino Sarratore' in The Story Of A New Name and My Brilliant Friend (BBC Radio 4), Various Characters in National Velvet (BBC Radio 4).

He made his directorial debut with How To Curse at London's Etcetera Theatre. Sam has also written and performed two one man shows; Seance: Live and How To Be Dumped: A Sort of Magic Show (London & Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023).

Sam is a member of The Magic Circle, and has recently designed illusions for Uncanny: I Know What I Saw (UK Tour 2023 & 2024); Jack & The Beanstalk (Theatre Royal Stratford East, Christmas 2023) and Village Idiot (Theatre Royal Stratford East 2023).
